Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bubba’s BBQ in Paso Robles! From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly, welcoming, and fast. The food was next-level — perfectly smoked meats, incredible flavor, and portions that definitely don’t disappoint. Every bite tasted like real, authentic BBQ done right. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, making it the perfect stop whether you’re passing through or staying in Paso Robles. If you’re anywhere near the area and love BBQ, this place is a MUST. We’ll definitely be back! 🔥🍖

BBQ was definitely delicious and the place has the look of great smokehouse as you can see in the pictures. Self service at the front counter where you place the order and they call your name when order is ready to be picked up same counter. Also self seating and you bus your own table. We will be back.

Phenomenal location, very clean and nice, the front person taking orders was very nicd gave us suggestions and helped with everything. The layout and atmosphere was amazing, very relaxed, like that perfect quiet but just enough inside noise. Prices were great and various options that arent pork, so friendly for all.

I think most of the bad reviews are due to service; we've only ordered delivery and for the most part, the food has been phenomenal. Definitely pricey, but so are most places these days. My husband loves the pulled pork sandwich, Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and the Nashville Hot chicken pizza are my favorites and I order both on the regular. Best tri tip I've had in a while and would definitely recommend. I've also gotten the pork belly burnt ends which were alright but not worth the pricetag in my opinion. Brisket Mac n cheese was decent. And we ordered the nibblets thinking they were crispy corn bites based on the description on doordash, but they're definitely not, and unfortunately not my thing.

Bubba’s Big Bad BBQ in Paso Robles absolutely nails the atmosphere—the décor and vibe are a rare 5/5. The tri-tip was incredible—perfectly cooked, well-marbled, and delicious. The sauces were all top-notch. But the brisket was a disappointment—lean, dry, and under-seasoned. It was clearly not the same quality as the tri-tip. Honestly, they should hold off on serving it until they source a higher-grade brisket, charge accordingly, and perfect it. The sides (corn and salad) were solid, and the menu selection was great. If they fix the brisket, this place could be top-tier. Until then, come for the tri-tip and the ambiance!
