Sierra Crest Tree Service

Called Sierra Crest Tree Service and they were able to come the same day for a quote. Leo, the owner looked at the requested job and gave me a couple of options depending on the level of cleanup I desired. We settled on the scope of work and what I felt to be a very reasonable price. They were able to come out next week, on time as promised and took care of the job quickly. One of the trees had actually fallen on a structure and they took the time to carefully preserve it without causing any damage. I am very happy with Leo and his crew (the receptionist is also very friendly and usually answers in the first or second ring). Communication as well as the estimate and invoicing are all automated and made for clear communication, however I was able reach Leo or the receptionist in person wth any questions I had. Great overall experience. I found my tree service professionals for the future.

From start to finish Sierra Crest Tree Service was above and beyond what I had hoped. Us Tahoe locals know getting a vendor to respond on time, provide a reasonable bid, follow up, show up on time even... is rare. Leo from Sierra Crest did all that and more. We had a complicated project involving a crane, power shut off, permits, Leo handled it all and kept me in the loop along the way. His team was extremely efficient in removing the trees and debris safely. To top it off Leo himself went on our roof with a leaf blower to clean it off from saw dust/wood chips that were created from the higher cuts. I highly recommend Sierra Crest Tree Service and will use them again if I have a need.

Sierra Crest Tree Service sets the standard for professionalism in Tahoe. I’ve worked with them twice now over the years, and both experiences exceeded my expectations. The first time, they safely removed a very large, dying tree that was dangerously close to my house. The job was done quickly, professionally, and just in time before a major storm. Most recently, they trimmed several tall and medium trees along with a large manzanita to meet defensible space requirements. I was very happy with their thoughtful approach — they managed to keep the privacy I value from my trees while still making my property safer and compliant. This is a team is honest, reliable, fully equipped, and highly skilled. They get the job done right — safely, efficiently, and at a fair price. It’s rare to find such great work ethic combined with such professionalism. Sierra Crest is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend them for any project, big or small!

Absolutely amazing service! Used the “get quote” on their website for pine needle cleanup, got a call within 5 minutes and a quote set up for later in the same day. Leo came out and also recommended we cut down a dead tree near the house and gave a quote for both. Accepted the quote later that day and he was able to get me scheduled in for the very next day. A crew of 4 showed up within the window provided and did an amazing job of cleaning the pine needles and cutting down the tree. Everything was done within a couple of hours. Absolutely blown away by the efficiency and professionalism of this entire operation! I will be using them yearly for our yard maintenance. Cannot recommend them enough!

Leo and his team are amazing. Professional, polite, and very safe. We were impressed with the precautions they took and the communication amongst the team members that ensured safety of all workers and safety of our deck and property. They were flexible and problem solved on the spot without cutting corners. I highly recommend their services and will call them again for all of our tree removal needs.
